Morning in the Woods

Our main purpose was to cut a log blocking the creek trail.
Kay brought her bear/cougar spray to protect us.

Scott, our farm forester, was in the woods marking trees. We had an unplanned but welcome meeting as a result.

May is quickly coming to an end.

Pre-Memorial Day clean up at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Logging begins

Logging has begun. We had to bushwhack our way to this location.

May is here

Trusses have been added to the little garage.
Bill, Sid, Kay and Diana took about two hours to hang new sheer curtains in the farm living room.

If you look closely, you will see Torti up in the tree. Guess who chased him there? Yep. Bianca.
